Machinery Breakdown Insurance

This class of insurance provides indemnity to the insured for losses arising out of the insured machine sustaining unforeseen and sudden damage from any cause other than those contained in the exclusions.

This cover is effective while the insured machine is at work or at rest or while being dismantled for the purpose of cleaning, inspection and overhauling or removal to another position or in course of these operations themselves or subsequent re - erection within the premises specified in the schedule of the policy.
