Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu (Mrs), B.A., MBA, MIDM
Mrs Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu is the Managing Director of Zenith General Insurance. She holds a Bachelors degree in Linguistics and Languages from the University of Benin [1993] and MBA (Marketing) Esut, Business School. She started her career with International Standard Insurers in 1994 as a health insurance underwriting and marketing officer and subsequently moved to Standard Alliance in 1996 as an officer and worked in both underwriting and marketing functions. |
She rose to the position of Assistant General Manager before she joined UBA Insurance Company in June 2004.
In UBA Insurance she worked as Divisional Head, Retail and Channel Management championing the Bancassurance strategy of the company. After two years she worked briefly as Marketing Director, Lagos and Western Region. She left UBA Insurance in November 2004 and joined UBA Plc as Head of Marketing, Cards Division where she worked until she joined Zenith General Insurance as Deputy General Manager.
She has attended courses on Retail financial services, Management, Leadership, Strategy, Products Development and customer services locally and internationally, her most recent being the Essentials of Leadership programme at the London Business School. She is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society of London.

Chuks Igumbor, B.Sc., MBA, ACIIN, FIIN
Mr. Chuks Igumbor is the Group Head, Technical Operations of ZGIC. A seasoned insurance practitioner with over fourteen (14) years cognate experience in the insurance industry. He has a B.Sc., (Hons) degree from the University of Benin and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) and has a MBA degree in Marketing Management from Lagos State University (LASU).

He has held various positions in the Insurance industry. Until his present appointment, he was the General Manager (Technical) of Afri-Ovis Insurance Brokers Limited. He has attended various courses on technical aspect of insurance.

Chris Owuamanam, LLB., LL.M, BL., ACIIN
Mr. Owuamanam is the Head of the Claims, Risk Management and Legal –Matters. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 1989, having successfully completed his Bachelor of Laws Degree Programme at the University of Benin. After completing his National Youth Service Corps Scheme, he practiced law at the Law Offices of Deji Sasegbon & Co. Upon leaving that firm, he became an Associate in the Law Chambers of M.O.C Okocha & Co. |
While there and due to his profound desire to make a career in Insurance, he enrolled in the professional examinations of The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and studied for the examinations privately. He qualified as an Associate Member in August 1998.
He started his insurance career with Crusader Insurance Plc in 1998., from where he moved to ELMAC Assurance Company Limited as an Assistant Manager. He was shortly thereafter promoted to a full Manager and became the substantive Head, Claims/Risk Management & Legal Matters. He has 12 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Lamide Olajolo, B.Sc., FIIN, MBA.
Lamide is a product of the University of Lagos, from where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and has an MBA degree from the University of Lagos; he is also an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN).
He started his professional career with International Loss Adjuster, from where he moved to WAPIC Insurance Company Limited and left as the Head of Manufacturing and Industrial Group. |
Before his engagement with ZGIC, he worked with Standard Alliance Insurance Plc. As Head, Marine, Special Risks and General Accident Unit where he contributed immensely to the development and expansion of the underwriting arm of the Technical Department.
Lamide has attended many courses in insurance, risk management, oil& gas, as well as marketing, which have impacted positively on his contributions to the organization he worked. He is a seasoned Insurance practitioner with over thirteen years(13) years experience.

Omotola Sotade (Mrs.), B.Sc.
Tola is the Zonal Head West. She manages the operations of the organization on the Mainland/Ikeja and the western region of the country.
Tola is a graduate of the University of Ibadan, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with twelve (12) years underwriting and marketing experience in the Insurance Industry.
She started her career in insurance with Leadway Assurance Company Limited where she worked for about six (6) years and left as Head of Underwriting Unit, Marine Department. She had a distinguished career there and contributed immensely towards improving working procedures, productivity, and training.

She has attended a number of courses spanning areas of Marine Cargo & Hull Underwriting and Claims, Marketing, Customer Satisfaction, Relationship Management, Leadership and Information Technology.
She is an Associate of the Certified Pensions Institute of Nigeria, a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and has a keen interest in Information Technology.

Sunny Uwagboi, HND, MBA, Member CIIN.
Sunny – Zonal Head- South, Head Office Branch/Brokers Management- is a graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu with ten (10) years cognate experience in the Insurance Industry.
He started his insurance career with Triumph Assurance Company Limited where he gained experience in marketing. He later joined Fortune Assurance Company Limited where he contributed immensely to the development and expansion of the underwriting and marketing team. |
Before his engagement with Zenith General Insurance Company Limited, he worked with Central Insurance Company Limited as the Head of Business Development.
Sunny has attended several courses in Marketing & Relationship Management, Banks & Insurance Business Relationship, Effective & Dynamic Leadership amongst others.
He is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and is happily married with children.

Njum Onyemenam, B.Sc.. FCA.
Njum - manages the Finance Control/Investment Department. She holds a B.Sc Degree from the University of Lagos where she graduated as the Best Student in Actuarial Science in her set. She is also an Associate Member of ICAN and a prestigious winner in the Institute's professional examination. She has extensive experience spanning Accounting, Finance Control and Banking Operations. |
She was responsible for the setting up of the whole finance function since the inception of the company and has continued to manage its evolution into a competent unit to provide the critical support needed for the company’s growth and sustained profitability.
She has attended various impacting courses.

He was until his present assingment Head of Motor Department, and had worked with organizations such as Mobil Producing Nig. Ultd, Leadway Ass. Co. Ltd, Regency Underwriters, Fountain Insurance Brokers and T. A. Braithwaite Insurance Brokers.
He compliments the industrial exposure with lecturing of Insurance courses at Yabatech and Kwara Poly at various times, and serves as an Instructor at Zenith Bank Training School.He has attended various courses on insurance and IT both locally and overseas.

Mobolaji Johnson B.Sc.
Johnson - Head, Life Operations - is a graduate of Lagos State University with a BSc in Mathematics. He has fourteen (14) years experience in the insurance industry, which started in the Underwriting Department of Guinea Insurance.
He later joined AIICO Insurance where he worked in the Group Life and Pensions Department. There he gained valuable experience in Life and Pension Underwriting and Actuarial Services particularly Gratuity quotations, Annuity computations and Life Portfolio Valuations. |
He later joined UBA Insurance Company Limited and was actively involved in the setting up of the Life Subsidiary, HEIRS Life Assurance Company Limited where he gained experience in Product Development and Marketing. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He is married with children.

Binji Bashir Haliru, B.Sc., MBA, ACII
Binji - zonal Head,North - is a graduate of Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto with Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute London and has an MBA degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Diploma in insurance (Distinction) from the famous West African Insurance Institute Banjul, The Gambia.

He started his insurance career in 1999 with Nigeria deposit insurance corporation and later joined Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation where he worked in investment, underwriting and marketing department.
Binji has attended many courses in insurance, risk management and marketing both locally and oversees including 1year full-time residential middle level managers in insurance course at (WAII) Banjul, the Gambia and has over 10 years experience in the industry. |
