This Class of Engineering Insurance offers comprehensive and adequate protection against all the risks involved in the erection of machinery, plant and steel structures of any kind as well as third party claims in respect of property damage or bodily injury arising in connection with the execution of an erection project.

Scope of Cover:
This policy covers All Risk pertaining to projects of Erection, Testing and Commissioning subject to some exclusions and conditions.
It provides cover for the insured properties against any unforeseen and sudden physical loss or damage from any cause occurring in course of installations of plant and equipment, telecommunication sites, and other items other than those specifically excluded in the policy.

Some of the perils excluded include: cost of replacement or rectification of defective material and/or workmanship, consequential loss of any kind, loss or damage discovered only at the time of taking an inventory, wear and tear, gradual deterioration; war, civil war, mutiny or military insurrection; infidelity or dishonesty of the Insured's Employees.
